5th October 2005: A few people have written to me asking why the site hasn't been updated for so long, this is mainly down to my own life, studying and so on. This site started out as just a single page, I never thought for a second that it would become a site that contained several hundred pages. When I was building the site I had more than enough time to do so, which in turn allowed me to make it as pleasing as possible both visually and written. As spare time at the moment is a little rare, I don't want to do things in a rushed or sub-standard way and start ruining a labour of love. I can't express enough how pleasing it is to receive mail from people complimenting the site and saying such kind words, makes every second spent working on it more than worthwhile. A huge thank you to anyone and everyone who has visited and promoted this site in some form or another. Hail the Heathen 23rd April 2003: A few new wallpapers have been added to the Anglo-Saxon Wallpaper page. 11th March 2004: More entries have been added to the Folklore page. 10th March 2004: Three entries have been added to the Folklore page in the Folklore and Folk Customs section, and more will be added in the coming days. 21st July 2003: A slight update has been made to the Images of Heathenism page. 7th June 2003: A new article has been added to the Anglo-Saxon News page. 11th April 2003: A downloads page has been added where text files of certain pages from this website can been downloaded. 6th April 2003: Some more news articles have been added to the Anglo-Saxon news page. 5th April 2003: A better and more exstensive map of Heathen English place names has been added to the site. 10 March 2003: Modern English version of the Journey Charm has been added to the Anglo-Saxon charms section. 19th January 2003: Several more wallpapers have been added to the Wallpaper page. 7th Jan 2003: Several more books have been added to the Recommended Reading page. Plus, images of all the recommended books have been added. 25th November 2002: Slight updates have been added to the Ingui and Images of Heathenism pages. 22nd October 2002: The Other Symbols page in the Anglo-Saxon Symbols section has been added to with some information concerning Thunor's hammer. 22nd October 2002: A new article has been added to the Other Articles section all about burial in Heathen England 21st October 2002: Some new words and terms have been added to the Anglo-Saxon Heathen Glossary page. 21st October 2002: Some new quotes have been added to the Anglo-Saxon Quotes page. 21st October 2002: A new page concerning tree and well veneration has been added to the Ways of Heathen Worship section of the website. 13th October 2002: Some new news articles have been added to the Anglo-Saxon News section. July 21st 2002: A new page has been started in the Ways of Worship section all about different forms of worship and veneration. July 16th 2002: A new page has been added to the website concerning images that are from, or are influenced by Anglo-Saxon Heathenism. July 14th 2002: A slight update has been added to the Horse page in the Anglo-Saxon Symbols section. The update concerns the Anglo-Saxon warrior who was found buried with his horse. July 12th 2002: Slight updates have been added to the Frequently Asked Questions page, and to the Sacrifice and Dance page. July 1st 2002: Many of the pages have had a link added at the bottom linking to another page containing just text for easy printing. June 27th 2002: A Guest Map has been added to the Guestbook page, here you can leave a message plus your location on a map of the world. June 7th 2002: Text added to the Frequently Asked Questions page, and more will be added over time. April 15th 2002: A new page has been added to the Anglo-Saxon Gods and Goddesses page concerning the Anglo-Saxon Mothers. April 12th 2002: A little bit of information has been added the horses page concerning the Heathen priest Coifi and his breaking of horse taboo's. April 11th 2002: A new page about runes and rune magic has been added to the Runes section of the website. April 10th 2002: After a very long delay the page concerning runic origins and their use has been added to the Runes section of the website. Coming soon will be a page all about the magical use of runes. April 8th 2002: Some of the information relating to various gods and goddesses from the Other Gods and Goddesses page has been moved to seperate pages. There are now seperate pages for the goddesses Helith and Erce and the brother gods/leaders Hengest and Horsa. April 7th 2002: In the Anglo-Saxon Gods and Goddesses section a page has been added about the 'goddess' Freo. April 7th 2002: A page about the smith god Welund has been added to the Anglo-Saxon Gods and Goddesses section. April 4th 2002: Yahoo UK & Ireland recently chose this website as a pick of the day. Thanks Yahoo!!! April 4th 2002: The Map of English Place Names page has been refurbished with a better map, also text has been added to the page. April 4th 2002: The Introduction to the website has been completely re-wrote and somemore information has been added to the stag symbol page at the Anglo-Saxon Symbols section. March 23rd 2002: Three new pages have been added to the Symbols section. These include information on Stags, Boars and Birds. March 22nd 2002: A new section has been added to the website detailng many symbols used by the Anglo-Saxons. March 18th 2002: Two new pages added to the website detailing the folklore and folk customs of England. These two pages will be updated on a regular basis.
